Welcome to Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers. By making an enquiry, confirming an appointment, paying a booking amount, or using any makeup, hairstyling, beauty, training or related service offered by us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read before confirming your booking.
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required 50% booking amount has been received. The booking amount reserves the artist's time and date exclusively for you and is non-refundable.
Booking Confirmation
All appointments and event bookings are subject to availability. An enquiry, quotation, WhatsApp conversation, phone call or tentative hold does not constitute a confirmed booking.
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of 50% of the total agreed service value.
- The booking amount reserves the agreed date, time and artist/team availability.
- Once a date has been blocked, the artist may decline other enquiries for the same date.
- All booking details should be checked by the client before making payment.
- Additional services requested later may be charged separately.
Payment Terms
Our payment structure is designed to keep appointments secure and ensure that the artist's time is exclusively reserved for the confirmed client.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before the commencement of makeup or hairstyling immediately after the artist/team reaches the agreed venue.
- No service will commence until the outstanding balance has been received.
- A payment screenshot, promise or assurance of later payment does not constitute cleared payment.
- Additional agreed charges must also be settled before the relevant service begins.
- The artist reserves the right to refuse or delay commencement where payment has not been received.
Cancellation Policy
Once a booking is confirmed, the date and time are reserved specifically for the client. Cancellation may prevent the artist from accepting other bookings for the same period.
Cancellation by the client for any reason, including change of plans, change of date, change of venue, personal circumstances, travel issues, illness, event cancellation or change of preference, will not ordinarily entitle the client to a refund of the booking amount.
If the makeup team has already commenced travel to the venue, applicable travel, transportation, parking, toll or accommodation expenses already incurred may additionally become payable.
Date & Time Changes
Requests to change the date or time of a confirmed booking are considered only subject to the artist's availability.
- Rescheduling is not guaranteed.
- If the requested date is unavailable, the booking may be treated as cancelled.
- The original 50% booking amount remains non-refundable.
- A revised date may be subject to updated pricing.
- Peak-season, wedding-season or high-demand dates may attract additional charges.
Appointment Timing & Client Delays
Clients are expected to be present and ready at the agreed venue and appointment time.
- Delays caused by the client, family members, photographers, planners, venue staff or other third parties are the client's responsibility.
- Waiting or overtime charges may apply where the artist/team is required to wait beyond the agreed time.
- Client delays may reduce the available time for makeup or hairstyling.
- The artist cannot guarantee completion of all services where the client arrives substantially late.
- If a delay affects another confirmed booking, the artist reserves the right to shorten or discontinue the appointment.
Venue Requirements
For on-location appointments, the client is responsible for providing a safe, clean and suitable working environment.
- A suitable chair and clean working surface.
- Adequate lighting.
- Reasonable ventilation and working space.
- Access to electricity where required.
- Safe and reasonable access to the venue.
Parking charges, tolls, venue entry fees, permits, travel, transportation and accommodation costs may be charged separately where applicable.
For locations outside the standard service area, applicable travel and accommodation charges will be communicated during booking.
Allergies, Sensitivities & Skin Conditions
The client must disclose any known allergy, skin sensitivity, active skin condition, eye condition, recent cosmetic procedure, medication-related reaction or other condition that may affect the makeup process.
Where appropriate, clients with known sensitivities should consult a qualified dermatologist or medical professional regarding products that may be suitable for them.
Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers shall not be responsible for reactions arising from allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, treatments, medications or other information that was not disclosed by the client.
Clients are encouraged to arrange a patch test sufficiently before the appointment if they have known allergies or highly sensitive skin. A patch test does not guarantee that a delayed reaction cannot occur.
Professional Makeup & Expected Results
Makeup is an artistic and professional service. The final result depends on individual facial features, skin type, skin condition, age, weather, lighting, photography, perspiration and other factors.
- Reference photographs are treated as inspiration and not as a guarantee of identical results.
- Every face and skin type is different.
- Makeup may appear different under natural light, artificial light, camera flash and video.
- Exact replication of another person's appearance cannot be guaranteed.
Additional People & Services
The agreed quotation applies only to the person(s), services and number of looks specifically included in the booking.
- Additional makeup or hairstyling services will be charged separately.
- Additional persons can be accommodated only where time and resources permit.
- Draping, saree setting, extensions, touch-ups and other additional services may attract additional charges.
- Last-minute requests cannot be guaranteed.
- Additional services must be paid for before commencement.
Respect & Safe Working Environment
Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful and safe working environment.
Abusive, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory, harassing or physically aggressive behaviour towards the artist or any team member will not be tolerated.
Where such behaviour occurs, the artist/team may immediately discontinue the service and leave the venue. Where the discontinuation results from the client's conduct, the booking amount will remain non-refundable and any applicable outstanding amounts may remain payable.
Portfolio & Social Media
With the client's consent, photographs and/or videos of the makeup look may be used by Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, marketing and educational purposes.
Clients who do not wish their images to be used for promotional purposes should communicate this in writing before the photographs or videos are taken or before completion of the service.
Images already printed, published, archived or incorporated into previously created promotional material may not always be capable of immediate removal.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers reserves the right to refuse, postpone, modify or discontinue a service where reasonably necessary, including where:
- Required payment has not been received.
- The venue is unsafe, unhygienic or unsuitable.
- The client or accompanying persons behave abusively or threateningly.
- Material information has been withheld or misrepresented.
- The client requests services outside the agreed scope without sufficient time or resources.
- Continuing the service may compromise the artist's safety, health or another confirmed booking.
Client Property
Clients are responsible for their jewellery, mobile phones, handbags, clothing, accessories, cosmetics and other personal belongings during the appointment.
Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers shall not be responsible for loss, theft, damage or misplacement of personal belongings at the venue.
Unforeseen Circumstances
The artist/team shall not be considered in breach of these Terms & Conditions where performance is prevented or materially affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, accidents, medical emergencies, government restrictions, civil disturbance, transportation disruption, venue closure, fire, power failure or other unforeseen events.
Reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative arrangement or reschedule where practicable.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond the artist's reasonable control.
This includes losses relating to event delays, missed photographs, venue issues, third-party vendors, travel disruption, personal belongings or information not disclosed by the client.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law.
Disputes & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.
Any concern or dispute should first be raised with Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers in an attempt to resolve the matter amicably and professionally.
Subject to applicable law, disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over the principal place of business of Divya Singh Bishnoi Makeovers.
Nothing in this section shall prevent a client from exercising any statutory right or remedy available under applicable law.
Booking Questions
Is the 50% booking amount refundable?
No. The 50% booking amount is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed because the date and artist's availability have been reserved exclusively for the client.
When is the remaining payment due?
The remaining 50% must be paid in full after the artist or team reaches the venue and before makeup or hairstyling services begin.
Can I change my booking date?
Date changes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. If the requested date is unavailable, the original booking amount remains non-refundable.
What happens if I am late?
Client delays may reduce the available service time. Waiting or overtime charges may apply, and the artist cannot guarantee completion of all services where the client is substantially late.
Can I request additional services at the venue?
Additional services may be accommodated only where time and resources permit and will be charged separately.
Your Booking Means You Agree
By paying the 50% booking amount, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the non-refundable booking policy and the requirement to clear the remaining balance before services commence.
